Hi @Kayleigh2010, to make it easier for people to try to help you please can you tell us which model of fitbit you are using as they are all a bit different and have their own idiosyncrasies.

Best Answer@Kayleigh2010, have you tried restarting your alta. I think you do this by putting it on charge and pressing the button three times, not too rapidly.
On the help page of the app if you scroll down to the bottom there should be some instructions for your alta there.

Best AnswerHi again, @Kayleigh2010. Sorry I don't think I can be any more help to you. I have a charge 2 so I don't want to feed you false info.
At the top left of the front page of this forum you should see three parallel lines. If you select those you should get images of all the fitbits. If you select yours it takes you to the forum for that particular model. They may have more insights. I just had a look there and unfortunately it looks as if you are not alone with your problem, looks like this is upsetting quite a few people. Sorry.
