My fitbit has a msg on its screen that data is not cleared and must sync and try again. I have charged the fitbit, downloaded the APP again and tried to sync again and the fitbit is NOT working. Not sure what to do next. I have only had the watch for 1 month

Hi @TaniaLVN. Welcome. It's great to see a new face around.
Thanks for letting me know that your Fitbit is displaying that error message, as well for the steps tried prior posting. That message usually appears when your Fitbit hasn't completed the set up process, for that reason I'd recommend to give a try to the following steps:
- Remove your Fitbit from the Bluetooth settings.
- Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
- Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
- Reboot your phone.
- Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
- Choose your Fitbit and follow the onscreen instructions.
