Fitbit isn't Displaying Steps

So like I havea galaxy A21 and ever since getting I've had troubles with the app. When I downloaded it, it never displayed the steps just calories. I can't get the steps to display no matter what I do? I'm very confused and I've tried every fix I could Google.

It sounds like you changed your phone and installed the Fitbit app once again. I'd like you to make sure you're logged into the same account that you were before, this to ensure that all the data previously tracked, show up on your account. 

You can confirm the account's date of creation by tapping on your profile picture, below the icon you'll see the date.

I just experienced a similar problem which I fixed by restarting my watch. I restarted my Ionic by holding the back and bottom buttons until the watch restarted.
