Hello @Username675 !
Thank you for letting me know about the Fitbit lab prompt.
We have notified our team in charge and they are aware and will work on it.
Hopefully this gets solved soon. We appreciate your understanding.
@alexthecat thank you for your support.
It was resolved a few months ago and now its back. Seems obvious its intentional by FitBit which is quite obnoxious.
I would just like to add that due to another issue I'm having support had me do a factory reset and uninstall and reinstall the app and even though I went through the trouble of opting out of labs and all of the other research and things in settings it still won't go away and I admit I am a bit concerned about that when it comes to my data and privacy rights.
Is this what you get:
Fitbit labs
Plan for Care
Research study: check your symptoms
and prepare for upcoming doctor
visits.
???????
This is what showed up on my Samsung Android phone, and as you said, no "X" to close it -- only a link (which I refuse to click on) for "Get started" !!!
I want this to go away.
Any solution to Valfer's issue. This is driving me nuts and screwing with my user experience. I'm still in the return window so I may return. I just bought a Whoop to test it out.
Wrong answer. There is no minus sign, only toggles to turn different metics on/off. Not how to get rid of the annoying Fitbit labs tile that is constantly telling me I need to finish setting up my labs.
I agree with @mitxelena14 - this has happened before with lots of grumbling from the Fitbit user community; especially the users who have already opted out of Fitbit Labs. It feels intentional that somehow the developers still release updates that include these obtrusive banners/ads/tiles that cannot be dismissed by the user.
Please fix this and remember to always allow the user to dismiss, because many of us users have already opted out, and it is not too much to expect that we would never see these again.
Thank you.
Hello @CameraSue , @Username675 , @JenniferGR , @ZzMilzZ , @2Young2BThis0ld
I saw a recent Moderator post acknowledging the issue and confirming that the team has been informed of the problem. Most likely, we may have to wait for another app update to allow us to remove the Fitbit Labs tile again.
If I come across any updates on the fix, I'll report back.

I'm now on the latest version of the Fitbit app, as of today, but I ***still*** have
Fitbit labs
Plan for Care
Research study: check your symptoms
and prepare for upcoming doctor
visits.
This "notification" still has no "X" to close it, and still appears to no option to exit.
I tapped on the paragraph, when then opened a long bit about "Optional: Help build better health and wellness products" page that had a "No thanks" link at the bottom left corner -- but tapping that did NOTHING ... except to close the page and take me back to the same "Fitbit Labs Plan for Care" notification on my hope page of the app. <sigh>

I had this problem months ago. for a LONG time. they finally did an update that made it go AWAY. now it is back AGAIN. what the living F?!?

They completely ignore feedback you provide in the app. I've tried many times. Google doesn't care any more (if ever).

Neither is productive unfortunately

As soon is this watch dies I'm out as well. it might involve a hammer, but it's coming soon.
I've come to the conclusion that if a feature is not editable or is retained, it is important to the "bottom line" in some way.
Best AnswerSo i guess soon is relative since its over a month or code for we dont care that you keep saying you dont want this feature we will keep forcing it on you?
