I turned of the feature in November. The prompts are back. I went into settings and declined it again.

Because Google want to shove their marketing down our throats. They don't give a crap whether we want it or not. They figure people will join in the hope it will make it go away (SPOILER... IT DOESN'T) Best option is to vote with your data, wallet and feet. Unfortunately it would take the majority of us to do so before the Google monster would notice.

Yep. That's exactly the message they're sending I'm afraid.

It is now a month later and I still have this problem. As someone said, it all must be intentional.

I was thinking about this over the weekend, I noticed that I have somewhat grown accustomed to seeing the tile take up space on my today page of the Fitbit app. @MaCrisGBFitbit have you seen or heard of any progress on getting rid of the tile? I recall sometime in the last month or so, another tile showed up, but it had the "X" that allowed me to dismiss the tile. Hoping to hear that the older tile will be removed soon.

Yes it was possible to remove the other tile that showed up but not this one. Drives me nuts...

Good news, another tile showed up and it had the "X" to dismiss it.

Bad news, the other tile is still there. To fitbit moderators and developers, any news on the tile that arrived near the end of November?

I'm glad for you -- seriously -- but my Charge 6 still shows me the card for:

"Fitbit Labs, Plan for Care, Research Study: check your symptoms and prepare for upcoming doctor visits" with a link to "get started." No "X" to delete or close this.

I'm on app version 4.60, most recently updated Dec 24, 2025. <sigh>

There should NOT be any "card" that shows up w/o any way for the use to dump it. I am again, and still, disappointed in how Google is handling Fitbit.

Go to the You - bottom right screen. Do you see this prompt to turn on? Is yours on or off? PageScreenshot_20260120_151042.jpg

Its "off" although it doesn't say it but I've hit 'no thanks' to the service many times over the last few months. Same stupid prompt on my homestretch n

Thanks for the directions. I tapped the "You" icon, and under Fitbit Labs, there were two tiles. The "Plan for Care" tile has a prompt for "Get Notified", the other one had "Turn On".

When I tap on the "See all" above the tile, I get a prompt to accept "Optional: Help build better...", and when I scroll to the bottom, two buttons become active; No thanks and Agree. When I click No thanks, I'm returned to the previous screen. I don't want to click Approve; that's what got me here in the first place.

I wish there were better directions from Fitbit on how to stop all communication from Fitbit labs, especially if I have opted out.

Yes it is off. But my Garmin Forerunner 265 was delivered a week ago so I'm now enjoying a new ecosystem with no premium membership price OR adds and tons of more data. Congrats Google... I loved my Fitbit for 15 or so years but you finally broke my will to continue with you due to your relentless marketing and control tactics. Well done. Good luck to the rest of the community. I still feel for you and wish you good luck should you decide to stick with it!

@bsette Sorry to see you go, but I do understand the frustration. I have been using Fitbit for over 13 years.

I'm not sure how a post was chosen as "best answer" for this topic since it has not fixed the problem. Another thread on this topic was closed with no resolution.
