Ever since an update was conducted on my LG V20, my Fit bit does not record steps or sleep. I have logged out and rebooted my Alta HR several times now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@DakotaChief Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry to hear that you aren't seeing your steps and sleep on your Fitbit app. When was the last time you synced your Alta HR? Try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
Let me know how it goes!

Best AnswerMy app doesn't show my steps or sleep either. I know my Fitbit is synced to the app because it is recording the calories. But when I open the app, there are no boxes that show steps or sleep. Just calories, water, and stuff I never use.
Best AnswerMy Blaze wasn't showing my steps and even though my Blaze was syncing via Bluetooth with my Galaxy S5 the activity did not show up on the online dashboard. I then updated the app to 2.80.1 and still nothing. This has been going on for a long time with my Blaze with different versions of the app. What's the point of buying a Fitbit device if they can't do what they're supposed to do? We shouldn't have to go through all this rigamarole to get things to where shey should be. Update after restarting my S5. The app is now showing the past days' steps and they also showed up on the online Dashboard. So, for now, it seems to be working. For how long, I don't know. Maybe they should let users know that every time they update theur app they should restart their device.
