Fitbit not syncing after latest update

Just updated the app however since doing this I keep getting an error message and fitbit won't sync. Had been working perfectly fine up to this point. Can you please advise a fix. App version is 2.42 (2183089)

I too have seen this issue syncing up a Flex 2 with a Moto G(2014) since updating to 2.42 this week.

I have uninstalled the app and sideloaded the apk for 2.41 from softpedia and this has sorted the issue for now.

My Wileyfox Swift 2 also occasionally refuses to sync, then all of a sudden it just will....
