My fitbit is not syncing with my Galaxy S9, it did before now nothing. I reinstalled the app and still nothing. Last sych was 9/23..

The usual things to try when you get syncing issues are:
If none of those ideas work for you then it’s probably best to contact customer support via: contact.fitbit.com
Note that fitbits only have enough memory to hold 5 - 7 days of detailed data between syncs, depending on which fitbit you have. After that, they start to hold data at a daily summary level. So, when you get it working again your data may look a little unusual.

I seem to have to restart my phone every day in order to sync. Why?

@Sweakman I get syncing issues a few times per year so that doesn't sound right at all. Has it just started doing that or has it always been that way?
If your phone fully supported by fitbit? See: https://www.fitbit.com/devices
It might be that you need to contact customer support to see if they can spot any issue from the server side.
