Fitbit not vibrating with notifications

I've checked my phone settings, restarted my phone, logged out, deleted app and started over! I have vibration notifications set for calls, texts, morning alarm and reminders to move. My fit bit will blink but not vibrate. I have a galaxy J3. What else can I do?

Thanks for sharing all of the steps that you tried to get your J3 to vibrate with the notifications. I'll be happy to help you check what is going on.

 

I'd like to ask some questions to better understand what is going on:

  • Does it vibrate with alarms or at other points?
  • Are the notifications coming through fine or are you experiencing issues with them besides the vibration?

I have been able to send a test notification and it has vibrated (although, I've sent about 100 tests and it has vibrated maybe twice). It has never vibrated with alarms, calls or texts. I noticed that it does light up when receiving a text but I'm not sure other timers because the flashing does not catch my attention.
