Fitbit notification settings keep resetting after every app update

See title, my fitbit's notification settings keep resetting every time the app updates. I wind up having to repersonalize it every single time. The steps I've been taking to disable certain apps' notifications on my wrist are:

1) Go to the Fitbit app

2) Go to my Fitbit config -> Notifications

3) Uncheck the apps I no longer wish to receive wrist notifications from

4) Back out of Fitbit config then reenter to make sure the changes took

Am I missing something to make this more permanent? Alternatively: why are you wiping out what I hope are client hosted user-edited config files after every update?

Hi, @DanielMills! Thanks for joining us!  It's unfortunate to hear that your notifications are not working as they should. Just a question, are you syncing your tracker after you make the changes? 

Please do so the changes can be completely saved on your tracker. You can also try to restart your tracker. For more information, see How do I restart my tracker? and after this enable the notifications again. 

This is actually very weird and should not be happening with the updates, let me know how it goes please!
