The Fitbit app is truly frustrating. Nothing matches what the web suggests. The app needs to be fixed so it matches the support suggestions for settings that are on the web. I was wondering why automatic stride length it's not selectable for me on my phone and app. Very confusing how they use stride length and step. Why don't they just make it consistent? Nothing in the app matches the setting suggest it on the web. The app is a disaster. Why anyone purchase this app? I will continue using the free app but it is full of holes and inconsistencies.

Hello @gvcc
When you say that nothing matches the support suggestions on the web, are you doing searches or are you reading the Fitbit Help Center articles?
If you're doing searches on the internet, there is quite a bit of outdated information. The Fitbit Help Center (<-- click) is usually more current. That said, I have found outdated information in the Help Center.

Best AnswerFor example, and this is just one, set automatic stride length does not exist on the Fitbit app using the Pixel, and Google Watch. All references on the web including the Fitbit help page says it should be there to set manually or automatically. So where did it go?
Best AnswerHello @gvcc
I have the Pixel 10 Pro phone and Pixel Watch 4. This is the route that I use to get to stride length:
