Can you wear your fitbit on your ankle and get accurate results

@Edii, that depends on which Fitbit device you have, and what the "accurate results" you are trying to achieve.  Is this because you are using a treadmill and holding onto the hand rails, or something similar to that?  What is the background of your question?

There is disagreement about that.  Officially Fitbit says is not for ankle wear.  Some wear it on ankle and are pleased with results, others not so much.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I am a labor and delivery nurse and I wash my hands many many times a day. The Fitbit gets wet then takes about 24hours to dry out and start working again. This is driving me insane so I put it on my ankle but not it is counting my steps, sleep, and heart rate but not flights of stairs? Help.

Are you allowed to wear it during your work? Impressive, when I was in the healthcare, I had to remove all jewellery.

Anyway, try wearing it in your pocket? You won't get heart rate, but maybe the steps will work.
