Fitbit paired but not recognized

I have trouble shooted for a month.   Ionic is paired but drops bluetooth connection causing syncing issues along with being recognized as a trusted device  on my Samsung Galaxy 9+.  Have trouble shooted phone and Ionic.   Might work for  very short time, then back to not being recognized.   Only happens with Ionic device, not any others I paired with.  Frustrated because I'm missing notifications

Hi, @Laniesue, I am experiencing the same thing.  My sense is that this is an issue with the Samsung, not Fitbit... Basically, as far as I can see "Smart Lock" doesn't work... I have the same issue with Trusted Places as well as Trusted Devices -- works briefly and then doesn't until I set it up all over again.  (I have a Galaxy 9)

As for notifications, the trick to getting them back is to send a test notification.  After that it usually works for me for most or all of the day...

I am afraid that the official answer you will get from Fitbit is that your phone is not on the supported device list, so although it may work, it is not confirmed to work consistently.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android
