Fitbit's display won't stay on

New to fitbit have set it up via app and syc it but it wont stay on when i take it off charge. Its just a black screen.. but is charge

Let me help you figure out what is going on with your Fitbit.

 

The first thing I'd like to do is to ask what Fitbit is it that you are using?

 

In the meantime, please try to follow these steps to restart your Fitbit and also check that the battery is charging correctly by following the tips listed in this help article.

I have the same issue. As soon as I take out my Fitbit surge from charging the display diasppears. I tried restarting it several times

Did you also get a chance to try the tips I mentioned to ensure that they battery is charging properly? Please let me know.
