Anyone know why my 1 week old fitbit Alta HR has stopped showing me sleep insights and instead is displaying a plain graph? It seems to have worked on the 1st and 4th day only? Is this a bug? So annoying as this is part of the reason i chose fitbit!

Fitbit suggest there are a few reasons this can happen:
"WHY DON'T I SEE SLEEP STAGES TODAY?
There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:
- If you slept in a position that prevented your tracker from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your tracker higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
- If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your tracker to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
- If you slept for less than 3 hours.
- If your tracker’s battery is critically low."

I have the same problem. Being a new "toy" I wore it the first night, my kiddos wore it the 2nd & 3rd night, I had it on last night. and I get the lines. I looked at all the suggestions as to why. It is fully charged, the only one it could be is that maybe sleeping on it. I am going to try it again tonight & see what happens. Have you tried it a 2nd time? or had any of these other solutions?

Mine has resumed working properly. I was advised by customer support to not use the sleep now option in the fitbit app and allow the fitbit to sync the sleep records automatically.
Hope this helps.

Hi all!
Has anyone checked the battery life on their Fitbit device? I didn't get a day of Sleep Stages one day last week, when my battery was at half a charge (like it is today), but once I charged the battery up, I got the Sleep Stages back. Try that and let us know how it goes!
