I received the charge 2 for a Christmas present and I have the same problem with movement at any given time. As stated I walk down the hall and back to my bedroom and walk 100 n fifty steps maybe eight steps all together. Now I'm having problems with the food management I I am having issues understanding it. I think having a Fitbit  it's going to be too many **ahem** for me. I am trying to lose weight and I'm dedicating 90% of the time trying to figure out this fit bit. Also I can't get messages or text messages not on the Fitbit. I tried it with Bluetooth.

It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community @Brunildita and @Jstovall12052! Thanks for sharing your feedback about Fitbit products. This is really helpful since it helps Fitbit to keep their products and services.

For wrist-based trackers, it's important to specify whether you wear the tracker on your dominant or non-dominant wrist:

  • The dominant wrist setting decreases the sensitivity of step counting and should reduce any over counting of steps when your body is not moving.
  • The non-dominant wrist setting increases the sensitivity of step counting and should reduce any under counting of steps. Non-dominant is the default.

To change your settings, in the Fitbit app go to Account tab and choose your tracker at the top of the screen. Or, in the Fitbit.com Dashboard, go to settings and select your deviceIf this doesn't help, please restart your Charge HR or Charge 2.

I hope this helps, keep me posted!

I noticed the same problem and switched to the large band and put it on my ankle. My steps are very accurate now. Not sure if you're supposed to do that but it works great now.
