2.80.1 still won't sync. The only way it will sync it's if i reboot the Fitbit. This performance is worse than the previous version

Please note that a reboot is only good for 1 sync. I am rebooting my fitbit
2 to 3 times a day.

Hello @Jsr2017.

Thanks for the update.

I'll be sharing this with the rest of the team. Unfortunately we do not have any updates on the matter but as soon as we do have anything to share we'll be letting everyone know.

In the meantime, maybe  you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Feel free to reach out with any further questions.

I just called customer support and they said my android 8.0 would have issues with the versa. So not sure why you're having trouble if you have the 9.0.... this is frustrating

The customer service person I talked with today said that it was because my phone has android 8.0 software, but if yours is 9.0 why are you having trouble? Pretty expensive watch to not work

We are returning it. It wouldn't stay synced and then it quit syncing at
all. Very disappointed.

I have been having issues (since October) connecting my Versa to my Pixel 2 running Android 9. Lately it has gotten worse. Even after going through the time consuming process of uninstalling, reinstalling, turning off bluetooth, unpairing the versa, allowing all the permissions, putting up with all the notifications and persistent alerts, and the angry wife who says it now takes me too long to get ready for a run, I still can not get my runs to track heart rate and GPS in the same activity. Instead I get two separate activities. Which then doubles my step count and just ruins all the joy I used to get out of the product.

When will Fitbit fix the issues with Android?

The only time my fitbit syncs is when I shut off my phones bluetooth, shut off my fitbit, close the app on my phone, then open and start everything back up at the same time. No text message alerts, no phone call notifications, and steps are days behind loading on my fitbit app. Super disappointed.

Dear all, have bought my Versa almost one year ago. In that time had 3 new different perfctly working android phones and I was never able to have a proper connextion, on paper a very nice smart watch but in reality there is something seriously wrong at the foundation.
