I've been trying to set up my fitbit to the app, it says it's found it and I type in the 4 number code, then says connecting. Then says try again and every time I try again I have to redo it and it still says try again. I've restared my phone and I've tried so many times

Have you checked that your phone is supported by fitbit at www.fitbit.com/devices ?
Connection issues sometimes arise if there are other bluetooth devices around. I know it's not possible to avoid them all but keeping them to a minimum when going through the setup can help.
