I would like fitbit to talk to my fitness pal and factor in miles. Doesn't happen. I thought maybe the dangle thing was too far away. Wonder if it has to be plugged into my laptop constantly? My iPad which I use daily for fitness, fitbit says it is june22. I know it is july1. Followed advice to turn off Bluetooth and then turn on again. Didn't work. Tried to download app onto my iPhone and it laughed at me, saying I need ios8. Tried syncing and pop-up said "fitbit was busy". Huh? I do like the smiley face, now if it just worked!

Welcome to the Community @Rjoset! I hope you're doing great!

In order to make sure that your mobile network is working properly try logging out of the app and log back in,

  1. Turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then open the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and open it again.
  3. Reboot your mobile device and then open the Fitbit app again.
  4. Restart your tracker.
  5. Try syncing with a computer instead.
  6. If you're still unable to sync, contact Customer Support so they can review your device history and tell you the options.

Let me know how it goes!
