Hi

I thought...when I was setting up my new fit bit that I read it could unlock my phone(meaning I did not have to enter my 4 digit code) .  I think I even remember entering my phones unlock code in the setup.  

It does not seem to be working.  I did not see anything in the user guide about this.   please advise

Welcome to the Forums @Liznotyetfit.

 

It is definitely possible for your tracker to unlock your phone whenever it is near. This is a feature from your S7 directly and not from the Fitbit itself. It works by letting your phone recognize a certain Bluetooth device nearby and then unlocking itself because that device is near. You should be able to locate it on the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device.
