Fitbut not tracking sleep since qpp redesign

Ever since I got the new update, my fitbit isn't tracking my sleep properly.  It tracks the first few hours and stops after that. I've had it for a year and I'm just now incountering this issue. Is anyone else having this issue, or know how to resolve it?

Hi, @Brandcereal, welcome to the community, you may find this article helpful How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? You will see you need to be completely at rest for about an hour before the data collection kicks in, if you are a restless sleeper this might interrupt the process.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

I'm seeing lots of data sync failures now - the sleep data is missing and other items in the Zone Minutes and Health Metrics have disappeared too.  So this looks like a processing problem when the Fitbit device sends data to the phone app, which then sends the data to Google for processing and then returns the results to the app to be displayed ... but lots of stuff is not on the new updated app even though it appears on the Fitbit Dashboard.

I have so many nice memories of the original reliable FitBit devices and phone app that I used for years and hardly ever saw any problems.  Currently I can help the app data display with this new update by rebooting my phone running the app every few hours.

The Fitbit dashboard is working about 70% - items like the sleep tracking that have stopped working are likely to be just a remote data processing issue, not an app fault most likely.  For example my Charge 4 currently shows that I have 5,691 steps, but the Android app and the Fitbit Dashboard each show 6,091 steps.  The Charge 4 also shows 48 zone minutes and 2 floors (my morning walk), but the Android app show 0 zone min and 0 floors today while the Fitbit dashboard shows 50 zone minutes and 0 floors.  So clearly there's a data processing problem now.
