When using the Fitbit Exercise app to track cycling, the app frequently freezes and crashes mid-ride, displaying the error: "Oops something went wrong, try again." When this happens, the GPS connection is lost and the workout fails to record the map/distance, though Cardio Load continues to record in the background. Anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I’ve seen similar GPS freeze issues where the workout UI crashes but background tracking still runs, so it feels like a sync/app stability bug on Pixel Watch side rather than your setup. Until Google patches it, restarting the watch before rides and keeping firmware updated sometimes reduces it, and for casual tracking breaks people also switch to lighter Online games style apps just to avoid heavy background load conflicts.
