Historic distance (and steps)

With the app you can see historic steps ... but generally historic distance (miles or Km) is not shown for previous days. Why can't steps AND distance be displayed ?

What version of the app do you have?

I see graphs for distance that go back by days, weeks, months, and years. 

Can you post a screenshot of what you see when you tap on the Distance tile?
