My flex 2 only records my sleep for half the night. It has done this twice this week. Any suggestions please

@Koalajane I see. well not sure if it is an issue but an update came out on the 5th you may want to update to see if that solves your problem - also this is the Android app forum so I know little about the workings of IOS but will try, im afraid that the steps will be the same as previously directed, sorry for any misunderstanding

if you repost on the following forum people with a bit more experience on IOS devices may be able to give you a bit more advice on this enquiry IOS App

the other person I am trying to help had a similar issue

apologies that I could not assist any further than this

kind regards

Hi,
Is the upgrade only for iOS as my Fitbit is synced to my Samsung phone and not to an iphone.
Thanks

@Koalajane no there is an app update for Samsung/Android as well - sorry got confused as you are using ipad to message so I thought that's where you were using the app as well

if you go to play store click on the 3 lines on the left of the app and go to my apps and games a list of updates will be there especially if you have set it to not download automatically

next to the app will be update if it only shows open then will probable have the latest update

another way is on your phone go to settings>apps>Fitbit it will say either at the top next to the Fitbit emblem or scroll to the bottom and it should tell you the app version there - currently v2.89 the position depends on phone s6 its at the bottom s8 its at the top

apologies for the confusion

Kind Regards

Thanks Wayne, I have checked and I am on version 2.89 so it must have been done automatically. The sleep problem started this week and there was no problem before that so it probably has been since the new version happened.
Sorry to confuse you but I was on my iPad when I read your email so replied on that.

No worries Jane - sorry I cannot be of more help the only other thing I can suggest is to give customer support a call (the number should appear once open) or go onto live chat again when they are open Customer Support UK

This is for the UK but should you need to change country scroll to the bottom and look for United Kingdom with a down arrow next to it and click on the arrow now you can select your relevant country and the page will refresh

apart from that its back to basics and un-install the app then clear cache restart phone and re-install the app again to see if that helps

good luck and let us know if you get a solution

Kind Regards

Thanks anyway. The problem is it is not all the time. In the last week it has been twice. I have discovered how to edit it and we will see how it goes.

Welcome to the Forums @Koalajane. Hello @ashwolve and @VeganDan.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for trying what has been suggested and sharign all of those details about the situation @Koalajane@ashwolve Thanks for being around to help!

@Koalajane It is possible that it is happening because of some outside factors. Did you start sleeping with a fan or an open window? A draft of air hitting the Fitbit can lead to the flex thinking that you are awake. Or perhaps something is causing you to move around more during the nights, like a hot night, stress or overeating right before going to sleep.

Let us know if the above could be the cause. Let us know if there are any further questions.
