Its been like 5 days now and fit app isn't syncing with fitbit. I can add water and food but nothing else works.

That sounds very frustrating.
I can tell you that it might've been happening because the S9 was not a part of the supported devices list until very recently. However, it should be added to the list shortly
In this case I'd recommend that you try going through the steps in this article. They should definitely help you get everything to sync and work correctly.

I also cannot get my zip paired with my s9+. Is there any kind of time frame when this may work?

Since my post in regards to the S9, it has been added to the list so it should be syncing now.
In this case, I'd recommend that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article to get the Zip to pair with your S9.
