Using a samsung note 8. Im trying to do the set up, i get to where its say it had found my tracker, next screen says double tap to complete set up. I do that the lights flash and it vibrates but then goes back to the main screen on the app and asks do i want to finish set up: never, now, or remind me later. Then i click now it starts all the way from the beginning at terms and conditions screen. When i check settings its not added as device. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled app, restarted phone, and have tried to finish setup multiple times.

Thanks for taking the time to share all of those details and steps that you have tried.
This might be happening because the Note 8 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the set up.
If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to set up with other devices.
