Flex not working

Hi my flex started counting an absurd amount of steps for me (over 200,000 while I was at my desk for three hours!). I tried to reset it and removed it from my account, but now it will not pair up with my phone and it's essentially useless to me.
What can I do to fix it?

If not already done, feel free restarting the phone.
