It worked and was fine till the new update. Now it will not sync on my
Android fit bit app

Thanks for following the suggestions that my friend @SteveH shared with you Smiley Very Happy! If you're having issues syncing your tracker to your Android app, I'd recommend checking these troubleshooting steps I share in that discussion to see if they do the trick for you.
