Floors are #1 but ???

I want to change my most important goal to floors, but can't remember how.

Also, I want to track my floors accurately. This is a problem. I take the same hike nearly every day. Floors were being counted accurately. Then, the weather got cold. Now the hike that gave me 20 floors give me 0.

I've had my Charge 3 for only 3 weeks. I bought it because it counts floors, not just steps. I know I am walking up a lot because I literally go up hill, down hill, about 6'. So two times up should be more than a floor.

What gives?

What do I have to do to register floors?

What do I have to do to make floors my #1 goal?

To change main goal on phone app,  Today page > profile pic > tracker > Main Goal.

It seems like it should be on Account page,  but it is on tracker page.

The up 10 feet have to be continuous.  You could go up and down 9 feet all day and not get any stairs.  I don't know the internals, but perhaps it resets your up distance as soon as it detects any down.

Floors accuracy: I will not try to explain or defend.  I do know it can be affected by changers in atmospheric pressure as it judges elevation change by atmospheric pressure change.

Thanks for the reply.

Fitbit should change the way that it counts floors. I live in a 1 story out
in the country. The closet town doesn't have any 2 story buildings.
So, I'd have to get in my car, drive 30 miles away and go into the one
hotel that's tall and take the stairs?
That's utterly ridiculous!

Again, Thank you!
