Why does my blaze say i went up 7 floors and i have not? How does it caculate that?

The Blaze counts a floor when it detects a rise in elevation of 10 feet while you are moving. This doesn't have to be on stairs but could instead be on sloping ground.

 

It detects the rise through changes in air pressure so the readings can be affected by a weather front moving through or even strong winds.
