Food Logging issues

I've been using the Android app since November 2016. It has lost function with every update since March. 

First, it lost the yellow starts that indicated that the item you searched for was on my favorites list. Then it started Requiring that I be online to log anything. Then it lost the ability to enter all my custom meals/foods (app crashed when I tried) Now, my favorite food list is gone. And, now your technical service says that "it's not supposed to work with your phone!"  what? I've been using it since November. The phone's a year old.  What is up with that?

 

Can I please just get an apk for the app from March?  Please? The current version is worse than useless. It's supposed to help me lose weight, but it's so completely frustrating, that it's leading to binge eating.

The widgets have also gone. I used the log weight and log water widgets every day and found they were much quicker than opening the app.

If you look at the releases and find the version you require it is quite easy to find the apk with a Google search. You will need to uninstall the current app before installing a downgraded version.

I was able to download & Install 2.21.4 (the one with complete Android 6 compliance) and (most of) my favorite features are back.

@Ellyenne The issue with you described are known issues which our team is currently working to resolve. You can follow the updates for each of those below:

@Theo1967 If you go into your Widgets menu do you not see the "Fitbit Quick Access" widget?

Hi @ErickFitbit, I have found the answer to my issue. The problem was I had the Fitbit app saved to SD card, this was also causing problems with notifications. It would keep losing the authority to post notifications on the phone. All working ok now I have moved to phone memory
