Food app Issues

I have been a Fitbit user for the last 6 years and have come to rely on it. 

 

Lately, the Fitbit app has been malfunctioning:

 

The weight does not record properly.  If I put in a number, the weight shows up differently.

Food takes up to five minutes to appear when selected from list.  (Sometimes, I will be forced to close the app and make a different selection.  Sometimes, even this does not work.)  

The nutrient counts are grossly incorrect.  (43,000 mg of potassium in a day, for example.)

 

I have called the Fitbit team several times and have been told that the issues are being worked on, however, it's been over six months.  (Calls can go anywhere from one to two hours, or more.  I have spent at least 6 hours on the phone with them, for a single issue.)

 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times, with no improvement.

 

 

 Additionally, the Fitbit team's accessibility has diminished.  They are not available on weekends when I have time to fully deal with the tech issues.

 

I have come to rely on Fitbit in health/fitness considerations, but these issues present major obstacles. 

 

Any suggestions?
