Food barcode scanner

I scanned a food item which is supposed to have 1010 kj per serve (one Atlantic salmon fillet approx 125 grams). Fitbit converted this to 724 calories which I do not believe is correct. When I changed the serving to 125 grams it changed to 229 calories. An online calculator tells me 1010 kj = 241 calories. Please advise.

You're lucky you found a food that scans! I hardly get any and the app doesn't allow me to update the info. So it appears that the barcode scanner is not really regulated as such and relying on random people who take the time to enter their own data.
