Issue: I cannot see previous days with food logged (screenshot 1) despite having logged calories for those days (screenshot 2). As a result, I cannot add calories on the app to previous days. This means I can't track my calories day over day in a meaningful way, or go back later to inspect what I've been eating. Using the web app is not an option, particularly when I'm traveling.
My hypothesis is that the days which are not displayed are days where I only added quick calories. Sadly this is standard as I calculate a lot of my meals in another calculator and entering per ingredient or adding custom recipes is a pain.
This has been going on at least a few weeks, and potentially for much longer, but I noticed it over a weekend with several late nights, where I didn't get a chance to add calories until the next day.
Steps taken to try to resolve: I have re-paired my device, restarted the app after force quit, rebooted my phone, toggled bluetooth (which at least fixed syncing issues!) and logged out and back in. For the last one, it looked like the app even pulled the daily data back down (screenshot 1) again, but is intentionally not-displaying per-day history for the missing days.

Hello @Chastise, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
I appreciate the information, details and screenshots that were shared in your post, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you, thanks for troubleshooting this prior to posting too. To better assist you with this, can you pleas let me know when was the first time you experienced this? Also, how many days were affected by this situation? Which mobile device are you using to check your Fitbit account and sync your Fitbit device? In the meantime I receive your answers, please follow the next steps:
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I'll reinstall after I post. Thanks!
I first noticed this over the weekend, so 4-5 days ago. However, from the displayed data, there are gaps going farther back. It is rare for me to need to edit food from previous days, so I hadn't gone back to look at whether I could since the app update (which happened to me a month or two ago). For this reason, it could have been happening since the update; I had put off updating for as long as possible since the interface is much less useful and requires more scrolling / clicking to complete normal tasks. I'm using a Pixel 3 with Android 9.

Quick update: Reinstall+Reboot did not fix anything.
While you're checking up on stuff, can you confirm that this is not intended behavior for days that only contain "quick calories"? I've gone back through the data the app is displaying, and while it's difficult for me to verify, this seems like a pattern for when I can / cannot see the previous days.

Bump. Still happening. If this is "working as intended" (hide quick-calorie-only days) then that would be good to know too. Or if others are experiencing it, or if y'all want more info for repro steps. Thanks!

Yes, I've been experiencing this issue for maybe a month or so. Days in which I only use quick calories are not displayed. This is especially annoying since I mostly use quick calories. (Most food I eat is not really scannable, and the ones that are, the calories are wrong half the time anyway.)

Bumping this. I would like to understand if there's a better way to get clarification on this issue. If it's a bug, could I see it added to a bugtracker? If it's intentional, could I get that clarified?

@Chastise, I can't help with your actual problem but if you just entered 'cup of coffee' as an item it's only 2 calories. The day would have a named item in it to keep it listed, then enter everything else as you want it.
Tedious I know but less than trying to find missing days.

For sure! I know there are stopgaps / hacks to make this usable when I can't get to a PC to manually fix later. I'm mostly continuing to bump because I'd like to understand if this is intentional or a bug. I don't want to presume things about fitbit's dev stack, but this seems like a simple issue to fix if it is indeed a bug, and since it worked differently previously, that's kind of my hope.

@Chastise, pretty sure you're right about this being a bug. I think there was another thread a while ago where someone said that they couldn't add in missed days using just calorie counts.
The option to select a date for the entry wasn't showing when you just wanted to add numbers rather than specific items.
That, I'm pretty sure, was before our new and 'improved' display. So, looks like they didn't fix it from last time.
