Friend finder not finding contacts

hi, 

i am running android version 8.1.0 and fitbit version 2.95

my fitbit app isn't finding any friends in the contacts section, facebook - email - and username are working properly

It shows me "friends without fitbit" but not no section of people who do have one. 

 

I've double checked my app permissions it has access to my contacts, i tried turning that off and back on again, uninstalling the app and re-installing still nothing. 

 

does anyone have any suggestions or fixes for this?

I believe their is an issue with Facebook. 

As for your contacts, do you have them listed under the same email address that they have registered with Fitbit?
