I have just created a fitbit Google account, im trying to add a friend who has been part of fitbit since 2018 and have a google account also. We have both tried to send a request by email, by username, by sending eachother the profilem links and pressing **ahem** friend, but none of us recieve the invite through! All our settings have been set to allow everything! What are we doing wrong?!

Thanks for sharing the steps that both of you have tried prior to posting. While this is odd, may I know if you and your friend have migrated to Google? I'm asking this because if just one of you did this process, the other Fitbit account might be unavailable until it moves to a Google Account.
Assuming this is your case, I'd recommend you or your friend to complete the migration process and try sending a friend request one more time. For more information, see this help article.
