Friends changed without my knowledge

On my weekly summary I noticed that my real friend has been removed and I now have a stranger instead.  What's happened?

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your experience.

While it is hard to determine what exactly might have happened, it is possible that your friend's account was compromised and someone changed the information on the account. I'd recommend that you get in touch with that friend and have them  reach out to our support team in case their account has been compromised.

There is no way for more friends to be added to your account, or be removed, without you doing it personally from your account.

Hi @LanuzaFitbit,  I think @TreenieR may not be able to do as you suggested (getting in touch with the friend) because the actual friend has been usurped by the stranger.

@TreenieR as I mentioned above, what probably happened is that your friend's account was compromised, and the person that accessed their account edited the information so it shows as if they are a stranger. 

Having said that, you can delete that friend from your account. You can click here to find the steps on how to do it.
