I have some cruft on my watch, so I'm uninstalling some stuff. Some apps need updates, and the uninstall button is not there, replaced with an update button.
The coach app, is evem worse, because I try to update and it says I need a wifi connection, but I just want to remove the thing from my watch.
Please fix this annoying behavior of the app!

Welcome to the Forums @jeffeb3.
Thanks for bringing this up and sharing what you have tried and gotten with the apps.
I'd like to ask you to share some screenshots of what you are getting. That will help me better understand what is happening. Please also let me know what Fitbit is it that you are using.
In the meantime, is your Fitbit connected to the internet? If not, please try to connect it to your WiFi network. You can click here to read more about how to do it.
I look forward to your reply.

In these screenshots, you can see how coach doesn't have an uninstall button, just an update button. Timers has the uninstall button. I don't really want to connect my watch to the Internet as it's mostly just a watch and a way to read notifications for me.
The only problem I see is that I can't uninstall something that has a pending update. If the app somehow upset me or I thought it was a security risk, I couldn't remove it before updating it. That's no good.
It is a versa.

Hello @jeffeb3.
Thanks for sharing your feedback and posting those screenshots.
Indeed to get the updates you'd need to connect the Fitbit to WiFi. We appreciate your comments on the situation. We are always looking for ways to improve the overall Fitbit experience. I will be sure to share this with the rest of the team.
Let me know if there are any other questions we can help you with.
