Used Charge 2 won't connect to my phone or app

I downloaded the app and made an account,  I go in to search for device. Device is found, and I type in 4 digit code. Says "connecting" for a few minutes but then times out and nothing happens. Please help.

Welcome to the Forums @HudsonA9590.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing those details on the matter. Let me help you figure out what is going on.

In this case, I'd like to recommend that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. They will help your Charge 2 to pair with your phone.

In the meantime I'd like to ask what phone is it that you are using and what Android version it is running? That could shed some light into what is going on.

Let me know if there are any other questions on the matter.

It is a galaxy A6 and attached os a photo of the software info.It isn't having a hard time pairing,  when I try to pair it it IS finding the Fitbit.  But then when I put in the 4 digit code it just says "connecting" and then it stops after a while and doesn't connect.

Hello @HudsonA9590.

Thanks for sharing those details on  your situation.

In this case I'd like to recommend that you try the following:

  1. Go into the phone's Bluetooth settings.
  2. There look for your Fitbit on the list of paired devices and remove it from the list.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Then, run the set up process once again.

That will let your Fitbit pair up and start syncing correctly once again.

Please keep me posted on how it goes.
