GPS Map vs. Distance

Hiya!

Has anyone else experienced the issue of the GPS map of a walk being correct, but the distance being completely wrong? I went on a 10km walk today and the map from the activity is correct, but the distance is only 4,23km on Fitbit (which, annoyingly, I can't even correct in the app).

This keeps happening to me and I just don't understand how the map can be correct but the distance can be so off. I'd really like to fix this as otherwise the Fitbit is useless to me.

I got my Fitbit only a month ago, too.

Anyone else experienced this or managed to fix this?
