Since the latest update to the WearOS Fitbit Exercise app on Pixel Watch 2 it keeps turning on GPS tracking even though I keep turning it off in settings. There is a serious battery drain even after exercise is finished. If I want GPS tracking an exercise I'm quite capable of turning it on myself. Can this please be fixed. I've been in touch with support but the best they could come up with was to switch on Airplane mode.

@PeteTab I've encountered the same problem with my Pixel Watch 2. I've been told that they are working on a fix for this. In the meantime, the only thing that seems to work for me to restart the watch after I use GPS.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I do that too. I've also reverted back to the previous version of the app which doesn't automatically turn on GPS tracking.
Hope they're not too long identifying a fix.
Thanks again.
Pete
