GPS connection difficulties with Versa 2 and Samsung S7

I bought this expensive fitness tracker after having the charge 3 because I like the design and what it can display as well as the music facility, but it has the gps function through my S7 which i would like to use for my cycling. I am very disappointed as this does not work. I have re booted the versa2 checked my versa2 / phone has the latest updates, nope, no joy!

Then to add insult to injury you bring out the charge 4 with built in GPS which is cheaper than the versa2. I expect I am not the only person experiencing this problem, what is my solution?

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then?
