Since the last update of the app, it takes an inordinate amount of time for my Charge 3 to connect to my phone's GPS. If the GPS does connect, the connection is dropped soon afterwards and never reconnects. Despite the connection dropping, the notification bar on my phone shows the GPS is connected. I have a Pixel 3XL with Android 11. The funny thing is after my phone was upgraded to Android 11, the GPS connected faster until the last app update broke it.

Hi @VeganDan have you checked Fitbit App permissions?
Try starting a GPS event with the Fitbit App open, if GPS connects easily then the issue usually is with a permission setting.

That's what it was. The permissions were set for my location to be available only when the app was open, so I changed the permissions to allow access all the time. Unless it didn't make a difference before, the permissions must've changed with the update. Thanks for your help!

I find that often with a phone, and sometimes an app update, permissions get reset during the update process.
Glad it is working.
