I have a FitBit One with the app installed on a Moto e5. When I track my walk it shows me walking off the road (which I am not). This alters the miles I am walking, the distance with the new phone is 1.3 miles where on the other phone it was 2 miles going to the exact same spot. When I had my LG Fortune, it followed the road correctly. Is there something I am missing or do I need to wait for an updated version of the app?

Welcome to the Forums @Walker256.
Thanks for bringing this up.
It is possible that the GPS signals is not very strong or that there is something causing it to behave this way. Large bodies of water, trees, tunnels, and even buildings around the route you take may cause the GPS to be off. It could be a situation that your previous phone had better GPS connection. A particularly cloudy day could also cause some inaccuracies with the GPS.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

I have found that the tracking app is not tracking at all. It partly tracks the first 100m and then nothing. I have another app on the same phone (JogTracker) that tracks my walks accurately. Any suggestions.

Hello @peter34 and @Walker256.
@peter34 To test how it goes, could you try running both apps at the same time while you are running? That should let us know if it is related to the app or if it is the GPS connection.
@Walker256 That is certainly a possibility, maybe the Motorola phone has a harder time keeping a stable connection to the GPS signal and thus this happens. If you have a particularly clear skies day, maybe you could give it a shot.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

My fitbit one, the actual device is not tracking miles correctly. I have tracked the same route with my phone and car and they both have the same reading.

I am having a major issue with this also and now can not get an answe on support.
I am going to ask for my money back at this rate as it’s really annoying me.
