 I've been using my Charge2 for about 6 weeks:When I originally set up my phone and Charge2 I was getting text, phone and reminders to move notifications. Now I'm not getting any of these. I just hung up with David i Customer Support--we spent an hour trying to figure out what was going on and reached no conclusion. Would like this feature to work with my phone as it was one of the features that continue to attract me to the Fitbit.  Thank you.

What can happen with the Charge 2 is if the button is held in - perhaps accidentally - then it toggles the notifications on / off. Have you disabled them by accident?

Not that I know of. Everything shows that my notifications are on. When I first started using this my notifications all worked--I got messages on the Fitbit for calls & messages, as well as 250 step reminders. They haven't for the past few weeks. I've restarted my phone(of course), done all updates, and went through everything with David multiple times yesterday.
How would I know if I had done something? Is there something else to check?

Easiest way to check is to hold the button for a couple of seconds. It will say whether notifications are on or off. Keep holding for a couple more seconds and it will toggle between the two states.
