Galaxy S Note 9, cannot install Fitbit app (android version 10)

I have a versa 2 I am trying to connect to my phone (S note 9, android version 10) which is supposed to be compatible.

When I try to install the app in the google play store, it gets to 87% then says cannot install app.

I have contacted both the fitbit and google play customer support, who both say its each others problem (google says its the developer; the developer told me to talk to google...) so I dont know what to do. This was a gift from my grandmother who spent alot on it so I really want to get it to work.

I have cleared the google playstore cache, cleared the data, made sure the app and my phone are both updated, disconnected and reconnected my google account, etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @KKitty - did you also restart the Note 9 and ensure a good WiFi if it fails in the download rather than the install?

@KKitty - You can always chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support sec, Contact Customer support in case they are aware of a problem.
