Galaxy S5 and Charge HR - Displaying wrong time and wont sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

As of this afternoon (Sunday 14th Feb) the tracker started displaying the wrong time and stopped syncing.  The software hasn't been updated and the battery hadn't run out - basically, no conditions had changed prior to this happening. The last action taken was turning off the 'Always connected' toggle a couple of days ago. The phone still synced fine though, and the tracker displayed the correct time up until today.

I have tried the following troubleshooting:

Turning Bluetooth off/on

Rebooting the phone

Restarting the tracker

Following the instructions to reach the erase screen

None of the above did anything, with the exception of reaching the erase screen. The tracker was dead after doing this until I plugged it back into the charger again.  This reset the clock back to 00:01 hrs. Now the phone will not sync at all with the tracker!

I haven't tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app as I don't know if this will delete all my stored data, and I am unwilling to do that.

Does any of the team know of a fix that will work?  Thank you.

Hello my friend @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Fitbit Community Smiley Very Happy! Hmmm..very strange let me say..

Thanks for all the steps you've tried so far.. what about setting up your buddy as a replacement? Have you tried that? Also, did you check if your app is running the latest version?

Let me know the good news!
