Tried to configure my "old" Charge 2 for use with a family members Galaxy S7 but cannot get the phone to even see the device.
Removed the device from my account within the iPhone app
Installed the latest Fitbit app from the Google Play Store
Go to configure the device and the phone does not detect it at all.
Restarted the phone, the Fitbit, Bluetooth on the phone and still nothing
Tried to reconnect it with my iPhone and it works flawlessly
Removed again from my account, tried again and still not being seen

Check your iPhone's bluetooth settings. If there's a connection there to the fitbit then remove it as it may be blocking connection to the S7
