Galaxy S9 Home WIdget

I just upgraded to the S9 and I can't get the home widget to show.  The one that shows the step count in the circle.  I drag it to the home screen and it blocks out the space like it's there, but nothing shows up.  It worked fine on my S8.  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling app.

I just upgraded to a Galaxy S9. Just spent 2 hours on the phone with Fitbit support. It turns out the Galaxy S9 is so new that they have not worked thier app so that it is completely compatible. He estimated it might take 3 or 4 weeks to complete the process. I had to download the app on my tablet and then make the changes I wanted and then they showed up on my app on my cell phone.
