Getting a lot of floors tracked

My stairs/floors counter is behaving ridiculously - it has gone from recording only 2 or 3 floors when I've done 9 or 10 to the opposite extreme. Suddenly the number of floors I've climbed is recorded in the hundreds every day. Today I've climbed the stairs 4 times and my Fitbit tells me I've climbed 226 flights...

Thanks for sharing your experience with the floor counting.

This could be happening because of changes in air pressure because of several factors. For example, opening and closing doors, AC, sudden changes in temperature, driving or even sudden drafts of air. All of those could lead to increased floor counts. Could any of those be the reason why this is happening?
